WKSJ-02 ARGINT
Source color reorganized into weight, separation, and distinct gray matter.
ARGINT begins with the color relationships inside an image, even though its final output is entirely black and white.
Red produces its densest principal response. Blue remains dark but clearly separated above it, while green, yellow, and cyan retain greater luminosity. Instead of reducing every color to a similar gray value, ARGINT reorganizes these differences into a more selective monochrome structure.
Its tonal construction combines compact and progressive shadows with pronounced density through the lower midtones. The central range expands as it rises, opening separation across concrete, stone, metal, foliage, skin, and mixed warm and cool surfaces. Upper midtones remain clear before entering a contained highlight shoulder, preserving controlled whites without broad clipping.
The result is strong without becoming indiscriminately severe. ARGINT carries a gray, mineral surface with substantial tonal weight, while maintaining internal gradation and visible distinctions between materials that began as different colors.
Delivered as native 33-point and 65-point 3D .cube files, both producing true black-and-white output.
Available for $5, with optional pay-what-you-want support above the minimum price.
Compatibility note: ARGINT should be applied after input color management to display-referred BT.709 or sRGB-compatible material. It does not accept Log or linear-light input directly. Users uncertain about .cube support or a specific grid size can first test the free WKSJ-00 OSNOVA in the corresponding 33-point or 65-point version.
